getting started...

The studio is still is shambles as we moved the computer out to make more room for creativity.. That said, there are stacks of boxes and bins everywhere..  This is my 1st attempt in preparing for one of my favorite
times of year. I love Valentine's Day. Yes, I do.. with all it's hearts and flowers.. what's there not to love about LOVE I say?  I have been caught up in my love affair with dogs and of course birds.  I have been missing my birds from Michigan and hoping that they are being cared for in this harshest of winters. We set up a bird feeder here, but havent seen the vast numbers that I was hoping for...
Back to moving, sorting and a little dyeing of more roving..
Stay warm everyone. Hasn't this been the craziest of winters???  I can hardly wait for some "good news " from Mr groundhog and then onto Valentine's Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting set up....

So much to do but taking it day by day.. This will be such a welcoming sunny space to work in until my new studio is complete. It feels great seeing everything again!

On this snowy day....

It's a bit chilly here this morning and the snow is coming down. This was the view from my bedroom window.. I did consider requesting "room service".. A good day to stay tucked in my cozy bed.  After numerous cups of nice hot tea, I'm ready to tackle a make shift studio of some sort. Come spring we hope to begin work on my studio in the 2nd floor of the carriage house, but for now being warm and cozy inside will work just fine... is it warm anywhere out there??? Please send it my way...

Happy 2014..one and all!

It's been a long journey that has taken over 9 months...(this moving thing)..  but alas, we moved into our new
old house in mid November just before Thanksgiving.  We now live in Minnesota, a long distance from Michigan, but being close to family is great. There are still so many boxes to unpack, a studio to build and set up.. oh yes, we will be very busy in this new year of 2014.  Thank you one and all for your emails, and if I failed to answer one, please forgive me. It's been a bit of a whirlwind adventure. I am just amazed that it has taken so long to find myself.. Hoping that in this new year, I can share with you many more creations and day to day activities of setting up and making a new place called home.. I've missed you, one and all..
