We had such a great time.

We were ever so busy everyday in Never-Land, aka Cape Cod... we learned some painting techniques from master painter, Diana Card and some special felt projects from Jody Battaglia. We all had some fun needle felting some birds, and now Jody has an even greater respect for those long dangerous needles... You may find all of our work at Earth Angels website.
All in all, it was a fabulous 10 days with great friends...

Our time in Cape Cod was superb! Time seemed to fly by, as it does when you're in Never-Land. Our days were full of laughter, lolling, and lots of lobster rolls. If you've never had the opportunity to shower in the sunshine, it's the best! ahhhhh, summer...... I will include the Cape Cod dogs in another episode.

It has been awhile between gardening and preparing for my favorite adventure of the year... The annual Cape Cod retreat with my very best friends and fellow artists. We all bring a new project to teach. This year, I am teaching a needle-felting project, and who knows what fun projects the others will bring. I cannot think of anything better... special friends, sunshine,digging your feet in the warm sand, great food, (yes, we will be eating lots of lobster rolls), and loads of laughter! I feel very blessed to have such special people in my life. 10 days of carefree living... these are a few scenes from last year. See you all in July...

I finally finished this little fella, and we went for a stroll outside to see the sights. Listening to the birds he became very excited....

I have taken a respite from the gardening scene, as the heat is just too much here in Michigan and the mosquitoes have been relentless. It is so rewarding to needlefelt one of these little fellas. This is an order that I am working on today. I do love the birdies... Stay cool everyone, wherever you are. Is it this hot allover????

It was such a fun weekend at the Earth Angels Event. The setting was so serene.... even a babbling brook in back of this great Antique shop, and the weather was fab.

I am breathing a big sigh of relief that I can actually see a light at the end of my tunnel of bears for the Earth Angel Event this weekend... and so I'm catching up on my internet perussing, so I stopped by the Creative Connection to read more about what's happenin' in September in Minneapolis.. This is going to be SO MUCH FUN! There are some great sounding Panel discussions that I am very excited about sitting in on as well as a huge "Junk Bonanza" going on with 100 juried national and regional vendors of antiques and vinage wares... not to mention the great list of teachers that will be sharing their knowlege by teaching some amazing classes. Yes, I will be teaching a couple of them too. If you havent signed up to come, or are still sitting on the fence, take the time to check it. It's going to be a great time...
