I've been busy this week. I made these cute little chenille treats to hang around the house. I've used some great old graphics, and gently aged them, ( of course). They'd look really cute if I had one of those Halloween feather trees. I might have to invest in one since my Halloween collecting is getting quite out of hand. At any rate, I have these 12 extra treats for anyone interested. I would like to sell them in batches of 6....or 1 batch of 12...

Just in time

The days have been so beautiful here and I have been finally sitting back for a few days, when I spied my friends that were so patiently sitting tucked away in their hiding places. I've had these clay jacks for at least 10 years now. When it's time to "tuck" them away in early November, I just find a comfortable place behind some bushes so that they will keep their "moss -aged" patina look. They can make me smile at the most unpredictable times when I'm gardening..all of a sudden, there they are, peeking out at me... they are just plain fun!

who gives a hoot?

It's time to bring out one of my favorites. This was an old family heirloom that has been passed down thru the family. It was in .. well, it was falling apart. My very thoughtful

partner restored it as a Christmas surprise one year. He even put in the vintage lace curtains.

Pretty sweet, don't you think? My little owlie feels quite comfortable there, and kitty, well, he's not sure. I think he's afraid of the witches shoes...

Ghoultide Gathering 2010

Vergie Lightfoot was set up right next to us... Her work is amazing!

Aron Lowe's cat pillow was great as well as her needle felted pumpkin people. I wanted so many things in her booth.

It's a good thing that I was right beside Debra Schoch. Her booth was so mobbed that I would never gotten this photo.. Great stuff.

Here we are, after many a late nite. It all came together after all.

These ornaments were by non other than Darla and Jerry Arnold. What fun to fill a tree with these goodies...
The show was fabulous, the talent was mind blowing. These were photos that I took during setup. Little did I know that my reader card was almost full... foiled again!

Ghoultide Show

It was a cold and rainy day here in Michigan for the 4th annual Ghoultide Gathering show.

but no ones spirits were dampened by the weather.

There were major lineups 2 hours before the show began.The show takes place in a historical park in Northville Michigan.

There were 4 buildings filled with all kinds of fabulous Halloween enticements .... over 20 of

the finest hand selected folk artists from across the country.. am still processing it all. More photos on my next blog..
