Stepping back in time ....

In preparation for "The Really BIG" move  happening next year, we are posting some of my personal collection of Murphy Bears on ebay.  Over the next few weeks, we hope to post more old Murphy Bears, new Steiffs, and vintage holiday items...  if you are a collector like I am,  stop by and check out our listings...oh,  the deals to be had....

Things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving...

There are so many things that I am thankful for on this beautiful Thanksgiving day. To be blessed with the sweetest grandchildren in the world  is for sure, on the top of my list.. but it should go without saying, that our two daughters and their partners are maybe the greatest gift a parent could ever wish for....As I sit and reflect on this year that has been full of uncertainty for so many, I am reminded that my life is so full. To have such treasured friends that "get" what I'm all about, a great family, and to be enjoying life without aches and pains of ill heath, yes, these are the things that are important in my life... So on this special day, I wish you all: family, my collector friends, my artist friends.. a very special day.  Thank you for being in my life, filling my cup everyday...

Such a magical place ..Paul Gordon's studio is the size of  a house.. it is a loooong space that goes on forever.. it's difficult to capture in a photo, but we set up in the front room only.. I could set up residence there.. so sweet.

 We all had such a great time this past weekend.. this is one of Paul Gordon's Fabulous creations...

 Deborah Hartwick always amazes me with her timeless works of art...

 And who can resist Leslie McCabe's classic works???

 Kim Stout's lovely work..and some Teds that found deserving homes... just a great time, for sure..more tomorrow...

It's time ...

 It's beginning to feel like Christmas here..

                                       A few of the bottle brush trees that I've finished... do love these tress.
                                    They make the short days seems so much brighter, all lined up on the window sills.

what's new here...

So many new faces here in this very disheveled studio... ok, maybe just plain messy..
At any rate, here are a few of the aged and worn teddies that are anxiously awaiting some
holiday adornments... It's begining to come together.. I'm putting together some amazing bottle brush
trees too.. just so much going on here.. whew... back to work..

It's begining to look alot like ...

      I have been getting myself in the Holiday spirit and am quite pleased with the results.

Pauls Open House is less than a week away.  So much to do.  I need some elves.

Fleece Festival Outing...

 Wouldn't you just love a wall of all these yummy colors ... and also a fleece to lie back on.

 I'm such a soft touch for sock yarn..  and then, there's all those hours knitting by the fire...

 I tried not to look very long in this booth chocked full of trims.. I feel like I could almost make this display in my own studio... hmmmm...Houston, we have a problem...

 There was a little something for everyone there.

These are a few of the things I did purchase.. I do dye alot of my own roving, but these were such fun, and everyone needs a bit more...All in all, a fun time.
