These little fellas are such a lovely color! I have been making alot of pretty shades for our Valentine's Update. Could it be because of the lack of color outside right now?

I made this little fella in my studio today. He's keeping me company while I get things ready for our annual Valentine's Update. I've been dyeing up some great new colors for teds .... fun ,fun... We'll be sending out notices this week. It's coming up too quickly.

When you live where there's snow for much of the winter, you do what you can to add a little color to the sometimes drab winter days. I found these lovely vintage die cuts on Kindra's blog the other day... so sweet...

At last..After 4 days of solid cleaning, I can say that my studio is once again in order. Hurrah!!!

cleaning aside...

I think that there is too much hype about this after the holidays cleaning thing... or perhaps they're aren't enough hours in the day.. whichever it is, I am setting aside the vacuum, and taking a tiny break by playing in the Valentine's treasure-trove box.. It's always a welcome sight to see what findings I have collected thru out the year for this special day... just a tiny sampling, and now back to whatever I started thismorning...hmmmmm, what was it that I began doing?

Ok, so after the holidays everyone goes thru this "big cleanup " Today is the Day. I've been gathering bits o'fun for our Valentine's Update... more pictures after the "Big Clean"...I do love this time of year.. snowy, cold, and so restful after all the hustle and bussle and who can resist hearts and posies? Ohhhh...so much fun.

holiday magic

The holidays were so much fun, and time seemed to fly by. The magic of children again adds a whole new dimension to our lives. We are back at home now, and getting back into the swing of things. Hope that each and everyone of you had a special time with family and friends, and are forging ahead into the New Year with great gusto!
